How to Use:

1. Gather dry tinder in your preferred size and quantity.

2. Use the serrated edge of the striker to scrape the magnesium rod and create shavings.

3. Sprinkle shavings evenly throughout the tinder or form a small pile about the size of a U.S. quarter.

4. Hold the fire starter at an angle over the tinder and strike the flint firmly to generate sparks.

5. Continue striking until sparks ignite the magnesium shavings and start a flame.

Note: Remove the protective coating from the striker before first use for optimal performance.
